Collaborated with UKOS, Rosneft, Lukoil, TNK-BP, Schlumberger on EOR development and adaptation. Author of more than 200 scientific and technical papers in Russian and Foreign journals.

Over the last 10 years, Laurie has been working closely with the businesses all over the world in the design of customised training programmes in the oil and gas industry. Laurie is the Programme Leader for the MSc Drilling and Well Engineering and the MSc Petroleum Production Engineering courses delivered to students of PdVSA in Caracas, Venezuela. He was the Course Leader for the three “Shell” courses: the BSc in Well Services Engineering, the MSc in Well Design and Engineering, the MSc in Completions and Well Service Engineering: he led the development and validation of these courses with Shell.

Clive is a Reservoir/Petroleum Engineer with 30 years international experience gained with Shell Expro, Aminex plc, and through independent consulting. Clive specialises in petroleum evaluations and reservoir development projects and has provided both technical and management expertise for offshore and onshore projects in the UKCS, Europe, USA, Africa, the Far East and the FSU. His particular skills include: Corporate Affairs: successful presentations of technical, economic and strategic matters to Company Executives, governments, banking auditors, international partner companies, petroleum, legal and environmental experts; management of staff, joint venture committees and multidisciplinary petroleum engineering teams; preparation of reserves statements, annual reports and company announcements. Asset Management: reservoir engineer and technical manager for drilling and development in the USA, Russia, Tatarstan, Tanzania and the North Sea; H&S and environmental audits; asset insurance; international oil and gas field evaluations for asset acquisitions/disposals, bank loans, field development drilling and evaluation programmes; development committee chairman for major North Sea oilfield; project manager and senior engineer for re-engineering of large North Sea cluster development Equity Matters: successful negotiation of participation agreements, UK equity determinations and High Court action; equity studies and training for European majors; team leader and management committee chairman for a UK North Sea major operator.
